Updated Piercing View Covered Companies

As you might know, we at Piercing View determine which companies to track through a series of highly sophisticated algorithms.  Just kidding.  It is actually straight forward.  You are of course welcome to read through our white paper to understand in depth our industry point of view and company selection approach.

In the most simplest form – and since we want to ensure compatibility with global categorization standards (GICS) – we adhere to the Standard & Poors (S&P)  industry structure and constituents (company lists) and select companies from the following idexes: S&P 500 (large), S&P 400 (mid) and S&P 600 (small).  The constituents are updated with surprising frequency by S&P.

We recently spent time tracking down changes made to the S&P indeces for our own software updates.

So. we also thought you might be interested in seeing the current list as of September 2016.

To be clear, this is our list and absolutely not a representation of current S&P index constituents.  S&P owns, manages and commercializes the indexes.  So, this Piercing View constituent list is shared with our members simply to provide guidance of company coverage for current and future IoE Scores.

You can view the PDF here:  piercingviewcoverage2016.

IoE Scores are developed for companies highlighted in ‘piercing blue’ inside the document.

If you would like us to expand our coverage in 2017 to other companies in this list, please let us know.

Also, if there are publicly traded companies that are not on this list that you would like to see covered, also send us a note.

Enjoy, Serge, Piercing View, @IoEScore
