Medtronic is still a catalog. The new thread is Touch Surgery Aide, an FDA-cleared compute platform for real-time AI in the operating room. The first application, Instrument Exit Point, runs on Hugo. Hugo itself and the Cornerstone Robotics distribution deal are robot access, not the intelligence layer. Aide is a real product in one place, not yet how Medtronic goes to market.

A 700 million dollar deal for rights to distribute Cornerstone Sentire outside the U.S., alongside Hugo. The release says Medtronic will keep adding real-time artificial intelligence across the digital ecosystem. The deal itself is robot access, not a new intelligence result.
